about

Willie Fernie (A. Fraser) / Lady Doune (Nath. Gow) / Lennoxlove to Blantyre / The Black Hat* (Ed Pearlman) / Jack Daniels Reel (J.M. Rankin) – Alasdair Fraser wrote the first tune in honor of his violin teacher. The strathspeys and reels were put together for a choreography by Laura Scott combining Highland and Cape Breton stepdance, inspired by the playing of Howie MacDonald and John Morris Rankin.
